Colorado Rockies

We saw the Colorado Rockies play on a Tuesday evening during the last week of the season.  Coors Field is a very beautiful ballpark and we got to see a great game despite the fact the Rockies lost to the Arizona Diamondbacks 8-6.

The park lived up to its' reputation of being homerun friendly as we saw 9 homeruns hit in the game - 5 in the first two innings!  Every time a Colorado batter hits a homerun, fountains shoot high into the air behind the centerfield wall.

Since we were on our honeymoon, we had splurged and got club seats.  They were $28 a piece.  Unfortunately, they were all they way down the right field line.  It was weird sitting in those seats.  Waiters would come and wait on you and there were some fancy food options as well.  We stuck to the traditional baseball food, like hot dogs, popcorn and had Coors beer (seemed appropriate since we were at Coors Field).
