Trip Overview

September 5 Left home at 3:40 pm Arrived at Tim and Mary's house in Olathe around 7:30 pm.  Went out for dinner and caught up on old times. September 6 Left Olathe around 10:30 am Arrived at Hickory Hollow around 3:45 pm Went fishing at the dock

September 7

• Stacie and Bob went to Springfield to get Jana at the airport
• John and Cheryl went to Berryville for supplies
• Everybody went for a boat ride and fishing - even Rachel.  Rachel didn't like the life jacket

September 8

• Bob and John go fishing early in the morning.  No keepers.
• Trip to Branson for the afternoon
• Burgers and brats on the grill for supper
• Fishing off the dock

September 9

• John and Bob go fishing early in the morning.  No keepers.
• Buttermilk pancakes for breakfast
• Stacie and Bob take the boat out for birding and a little fishing
• Jana, John and Cheryl took the boat out.  Jana caught the first keeper.
• Swimming at the pool.
• Fishing from the dock.  
• Watched "Bringing Down the House" starring Steve Martin and Queen Latifah. 

September 10

• John and Stacie went fishing early morning.  Stacie caught a keeper.
• Bob and Jana took the boat out and caught nothing.
• Went to Cosmic Caverns.
• Swimming at the pool.
• Fishing off the dock.  Stacie caught around 10 fish casting with a fly.  2 were keepers.

September 11

• John and Bob went fishing early morning.  Bob caught the only catfish of the trip.  All 4 inches of him.
• Shopping at Eureka Springs, Ak.
• Visited the Thorncrown Chapel - a glass chapel in the middle of the woods.
• Jana caught a nice large-mouthed bass off the dock.  Best keeper of the trip.
• Fish Fry appetizers in the evening.

September 12

• John and Cheryl took Jana to the airport in Springfield
• Bob, Stacie and Rachel went to Roaring River State Park and Pea Ridge National Military Battlefield.
• Rained most of the day.

September 13

• Stacie and Bob took the boat out looking for birds
• Stacie and Cheryl headed toward Eureka Springs to shop
• Bob and John took a drive around the area
• Stacie, Bob and Rachel went swimming

September 14

• Pulled out of the driveway at 9:00 am
• Got home around 5:30 pm.
