Budweiser Brewery Tour
Corey and Bob went to the Budweiser Brewery for the free tour.
You even get a couple of small glasses of beer free if you are of
age. The tour lasts
around 45 minutes to an hour and goes in several different
buildings. The basics of the brewing process is described. A short
video along the tour provides more information on the subject as
well. We also learned about the history of Anheuser- Busch and
learned many facts about how big and strong the company is today.
Pictures are allowed on the tour in all but 2 areas (not that
these areas looked that special). It was fun to see the
brewing process. |

The tour also goes through the stables with some of the world famous
Budweiser Clydesdales. It was very interesting to see some of the
horses and the wagon they pull. One harness set costs over $20,000
for one horse.
One of the more interesting facts I heard on the tour was how the Augie
Busch, current president of Budweiser, attended 3rd grade in the room that
later became his office as president of the company. The company has
since built a new International Headquarters near there. |

We ended up walking there and back, which was quite a trip from the
TWA Dome,
especially since it was really hot. Hopefully you have a car or hit
the bus route better than we did.
We recommend the tour to anyone with any interest in beer or who is
just curious about the process. It's pretty amazing to see it from
start to finish.
