General Information
Milwaukee is an industrial city which was found in the 1830s. The
city has a rich cultural history, which features a large German
population, which migrated in the first half of the 19th century and an
Italian and Polish population that migrated to Milwaukee in the
1890s.
The city is a port city on Lake Michigan. Some of the leading
industries include the manufacture of machinery, metals, and beer.
