Bob and Stacie's Travelogs

Our stay in Atlanta was a brief one - most of one day. Our main purpose was going to a Braves baseball game and we also ended up going to the zoo.

We have driven through Atlanta several times, but this was our first actual stop. Most times we had driven through, we were fortunate to hit town at decent times as far as traffic is concerned. This time, traffic was pretty heavy and pretty fast. It's weird to be going down a 16 lane road (8 lanes each way) at 65 mph and not pass anyone while being passed by quite a bit.

There are a lot of things to do in Atlanta and maybe someday we will take more time to visit and see the sites. In addition to being the capital of Georgia, it is also home of CNN and Coca-Cola. It is a very beautiful city to drive through late at night when the city is all lit up.
