Food
As always in Duluth, we went to several good places to eat. In
our previous trips, we mentioned some of the restaurants we
visited. Here are a few new ones.
Old Chicago
Pizza, beer and free NTN Trivia. What more do you need.
They had really good pizza, many selections of beer and we had fun
playing the trivia. Sports bar atmosphere overall.
Grandma's Saloon and Grill
There are a few different places in the Grandma's chain at Canal
Park. Grandma's is pretty influential there and there is even the
annual Grandma's marathon held in Duluth. We really enjoyed the
food and atmosphere here. If you go to Duluth, it seems like you
should hit at least one of the Grandma places. It's too bad it
took us 3 years.
Angie's Cantina
Owned by the same company that owns the Grandmas chains, Angie's
Cantina serves up some pretty spicy Mexican food. We sat outside
because we didn't have to wait to sit down and we didn't think it was
that cold outside. The food was a little spicier than we were used
to, but overall it was pretty good. Bob liked it more than
Stacie.
Others
Some of the other places we ate include Fitgers and the Green
Mill. For information on these places, visit our Duluth '00 trip
and go to Food.
