SizeFull grown males are nearly 5 feet tall at the shoulder and weigh up to 750 to 1000 pounds. Females are smaller and weigh up to 650 pounds. RangePrimarily found in mountainous areas of the United States and Canada from British Columbia and Saskatchewan to Arizona and New Mexico.
